Set within the walls of a historic 1880's mansion, Ox and Stone has two private rooms, and the ability to offer a unique experience for a wide range of party sizes.

the turret room

Great for 40 - 60

The Turret Room is our largest single private room and seats up to 55 guests or up to 60 guests for a cocktail reception. Located on the second floor, it features a private bar, beautiful artwork and a view of Alexander Street from the turret window. 

THE bar rio

Great for 40

The Bar Rio was named in homage to the former Rio Bamba, a Rochester Landmark, and is suitable for up to 40 guests, featuring archways and a stunning patinated walnut bar with ten draught lines and an inspired spirit collection.

THE patio

Great for 25-50

The Patio is located in the front of the restaurant and can seat 25-40 guests or up to 50 guests for a cocktail reception. Guests can enjoy a view of Alexander Street under shade provided by a beautiful pergola structure.

The tonga room

Great for 15-30

Our Tonga Room is a private room that accomodates 15-25 guests.  
Located in a secluded area behind our main dining room on the first
floor, it features a quaint arched entry lounge with leather sofas,
coved ceilings and antique stained glass windows.

THE main dining ROOM

Great for 80-100

The Main Dining room can accomodate 80-100 seated guests and up to 120 guests for a cocktail reception. Noted for its beautiful coved ceiling, ambient lighting and antiquated textured walls, this room can only be rented in addition to the Tonga Room.
